BREEAM assessments apply to a range of developments, from offices to schools and private homes, as well as all stages of the building process. Ecology is a specific aspect of the assessment and must be evaluated at the site both prior to and post development. Critically, the assessment includes an analysis of the change in ecological quality post development and the adoption of ecological enhancement and management measures.
