badger routes

At MKA Ecology we have extensive experience in situations where badgers are a factor in development.

Our aim is to provide you with cost-effective and sustainable solutions which minimise delay. In most cases it is possible to find a way of working to enable development to proceed without disturbance to badgers. If disturbance cannot be avoided and closure of badger setts is needed, the team at MKA Ecology can advise you and also implement the required steps.

This may involve:

  • Comprehensive range of Badger surveys including bait marking and site assessment
  • Design and implementation of appropriate mitigation measures
  • Obtaining Natural England approved licences to disturb and destroy Badger setts
  • Construction of artificial badger setts
