Several of our ecological consultants are qualified to undertake River Condition Assessment (RCA) surveys. Why’s this important? Because the Environment Act 2021 will require all developments in England to achieve a 10% Biodiversity Net Gain as soon as secondary legislation is in place.
When a river flows through a site, or if the boundary is within 10 metres of its bank, it will have to show a 10% net gain within its own bespoke assessment. Find out more
