Our Oxford office's ecological team has been involved with numerous projects across The Oxford Science Park. Most recently, plans for Plots 23-26 were approved by Oxford City Council for 400,000 sq ft of new office and laboratory facilities for leading life science and technology companies.

We were involved from an early stage, completing a suite of ecological surveys to support the application and inform the site design, including a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal, National Vegetation Classification, Reptile survey, Habitat Regulations Assessment screening and Ecological Impact Assessment. Our results were used to inform the site design, working together with the project team to deliver Biodiversity Net Gain.  We are now involved preparing the site for development, including undertaking a reptile translocation and bee orchid translocation. A new receptor site has been established which will be managed sensitively to support these protected and notable species.
