We believe in developing our team’s skill set to offer clients a wide range of ecological services.
Recently two members of our ecology team successfully completed a tree climbing and aerial rescue training course. This means that they are professionally trained and certified to safely access and work in trees by rope and harness. They can also carry out an emergency rescue at height.
These newly qualified staff expand our existing team of fully licensed and certified ecologists who can provide tree climbing surveys for roosting bats, or aerial bat surveys. Following a ground-based roost assessment for potential roost features, a licensed tree climber ecologist would be able to undertake an aerial tree survey. Undertaking this survey provides a detailed inspection providing more accurate results, reducing the need for further surveys and making it a more cost-effective option. Tree inspections can be undertaken at any time throughout the year removing potential delays to a project.
